In this mixed media painting, I am exploring a time in my life where I was overstimulated and trying to quiet the noise to focus on achieving a goal. The culture we have evolved into encourages every idea and stimulus to be expressed at the same time. This painting was a practice in being present, recognizing the chaos in life, and being able to choose a quiet path for productivity, healing, and personal growth.
