This trompe l'oeil (trick of the eye) door frame and baseboard was painted to continue existing wallpaper image on this client's living room wall. The white door frame was too bold and visually broke up the wallpaper. The break in the baseboard was also distracting from the wallpaper image and was painted in.  The trompe l'oeil painting allowed this beautiful wallpaper mural to be enjoyed without distraction.
